There is a new app that just flew in and for those of you who fly frequently this could save you a lot of wasted time sitting in airports. TripIt has a free app, and a paid app with added features. You can check your flight status, view car rental confirmations, and even get directions. TripIt Pro adds the ability to receive mobile flight alerts and alternate flights. I love TripIt. I used to use a Program called WorldMate on my BB but when I switched to Droid, had to find an alternative and found TripIt which I like even better. I was very happy when they released the BB version since I would then load it on my work BB as well. (And it will be one of the first programs I load when my "new" personal Tour arrives.)

A great thing about TripIt is that you can forward your itineraries/confirmations from the airlines and hotels to TripIt by email and they automatically import the info into TripIt. Very little typing or cleaning up required although you do have the abiltity to add information manually if you need to. It works with Google Maps. Note that you can't edit, etc., on the BB (at least I couldn't when I just tried) but I'm more interested in seeing all my itineraries in one place. This is especially great if, like me, you frequently have several future trips in the works as it makes it much easier to keep track of.
