What woman wouldn't love an app that has the word "Mall" in it. Recently I flew and while waiting for the plane to take off I thumbed thru the reading material that was in the netting on the back of the seat in front of me. While it didn't have much worth reading it did have a large selection of things to buy. (Including snacks and meals which no longer comes with the ticket to ride in the plane) According to Integrated Solutions for Retailers the SkyMall app is used to directly place your order from your BlackBerry as you flip thru the hard-copy catalog of items for sale. When you find an item that you want to purchase (and of course can afford to buy) you simply enter the item number in the SkyMall app. For those of you who are wondering just how many items could they possibly have. Fasten your seatbelt as we prepare for takeoff, over 10,000. Guess that's why they call it a mall. I will be taking a lengthy flight next month so it is good to know I can feed my shopaholic habit while flying. This might be the good news, bad news that puts my hubby over the edge. Good news in that I won't be going thru withdrawals that might create a dangerous situation during the flight, bad news is it's going to end up costing dearest hubby to feed my habit. I may have to think up places to fly to just so I can shop. BTW, let me know if you find any coupons.
