2 Guys & an Old Lady on BBM

If you don't use BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) you could be missing out on a lot of fun. I'm in a few BBM Groups (where members can all chat) and today I was chatting with a couple of guys about a new beta coming out. Chatting is like texting where you have a lot of abbreviations and symbols. It is actually like a separate language. I'm sure most people would not have a clue what I meant if I typed MIL? Give up? OK, it is Mother-In-Law. What about XXX? That could be taken as kisses but my intent in my chat with the guys was 3 strikes. I confused those guys good. It might have been the generation gap since I'm on the up hill side of 50 and they were on the down hill side of 20. Or it could just be my brain tumor likes to scramble things in my head just to confuse me as well as everyone else. I had something special I would send to my husband who is retired from being a Pastor for over 35 years. When he was preaching I would send him a note that said KISS. I'm sure you are thinking ahhh that's so sweet. It is actually an abbreviation for "Keep It Short Stupid"! So I will keep this short by just saying if you aren't using BBM you are missing out on one of the best features on your BlackBerry.

I can't believe BlackBerryLadies is a year old. This past year has gone by so quickly. I appreciate all 502 members and the many visitors who have been a part of BBL this year. Having no experience in websites or forums the task of managing would have been impossible without the help of RickyG, Joolie, Sissie, Giselle and AZtweetr. I truly appreciate them and all they have contributed. I'm looking forward to seeing where BlackBerryLadies goes this year and in the years to come. With the support of great members it has the potential to become "the hotest new BlackBerry site for both Ladies & Men". Stay tuned for more on the future of BlackBerryLadies.
